The pilot was operating from Las Vegas, using video and keyboard for navigation. Video from the robot was transmitted through the Internet using Microsoft Messenger (Netmeeting can also be used). Keyboard commands (turn left, turn right, forward) were transmitted through the Internet using the software provided in this site. We've also had great success controling the robot from Phoenix to Brazil, 5900 miles away ! (9500 km)
